Fairies on Zoom in Edinburgh, Scotland

"In this series of 5 monthly workshops, Joan and her guests are going to explore the origins of myths and legends of magical beings. For even if you have never seen a fairy, unicorn, elemental, dragon, or mermaid it doesn’t mean they don’t exist."

Join Joan Frew in Edinburgh, on Zoom, for a monthly fairy class, starting April 27th, at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre.

Do you believe there is more out there than what we can see, as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle certainly did?

Even though the Cottingley fairies’ photographs were later proven to be a hoax, Frances Griffiths, one of the girls who took the photographs always maintained that the fifth photograph was real.

The Celts along with Scandinavian countries have a long history and belief in the unseen protectors and guardians of places, and will leave offerings to appease and honour their existence. However, these myths and legends traverse the world, and they can’t all be wrong or dismissed.

Even if you have never seen a fairy, unicorn, elemental, dragon, or mermaid it doesn’t mean they don’t exist. You may even have gone to a special place in nature and felt you were being observed even though there is no one there.

What to Expect

In this series of 5 monthly workshops, Joan and her guests are going to explore the origins of myths and legends of magical beings.

Each month they will focus on a different aspect of the normally unseen world of land, sea, and air.

Together go on a journey of discovery to places and beings you may never have visited before.

They will use guided visualisations to connect with these magical spiritual beings to aid our understanding, knowledge and expand our awareness of what is hidden in plain sight.

Whether you are a believer or go along and enjoy the fun, you might just be surprised at what you discover and who really lives at the bottom of your garden.
