Holiday Goddess is a website and bestselling book and e-book series based on the idea that women can travel like a goddess for less. Editors Anna Johnson (pictured below) and Jessica Adams collaborated on The Holiday Goddess Handbag Guide to Paris, London, New York and Rome (HarperCollins) in 2011 which has been translated into German and Chinese and made The Sydney Morning Herald Top Ten Travel Bestseller list.  Anna’s distinctive art has given the website its trademark look since the beginning.

 

MEET OUR EDITORS – FROM MELBOURNE TO DUBAI, VIA LOS ANGELES
Holiday Goddess Editors at holidaygoddess.com include some of the world’s best-travelled names in media and publishing. Donna Wheeler is the author of several Lonely Planet guidebooks. Vicki Arkoff has worked on MAD, Daily Variety and Entertainment Weekly from her Los Angeles base. Londoner Sue Ostler (pictured below) is the author of several books, the creator of Flirt Diva and has written for Rolling Stone, Metro and Time Out. Julie Miller is one of Australia’s most awarded travel writers. Faith Bleasdale is the author of six novels for Hodder and is based in Britain.

Holiday Goddess Handbag Guide to London writer Emma Killick, also based in London, is an avid gardener, California lawyer and UK solicitor. Deborah Dickson-Smith is based in Sydney but her travel writing has appeared all over the world including the prestigious pages of The New York Times. Karen Moline is based in New York and is a novelist, journalist and ghostwriter, well-known for her internationally acclaimed books Lunch and Belladonna. Kris McIntyre is best-known as the host of Australia’s Yoga TV. She’s a writer, editor and yoga teacher with a love for wellness travel.

Joe Guario is the Melbourne-based designer of the Holiday Goddess website – his clients also include Lonely Planet. Tamara Pitelen is a Dubai-based editor, author and publisher who has written for magazines and newspapers for almost 20 years. Janine Brown is our resident graphic artist. She is a designer whose collaborations on several books with Affirmations Publishing House are well-known around the world.

Holiday Goddess charity partners Dogstar Foundation (below) and War Child each hold an equal share in  revenue drawn from the website, together with our editors. The War Child charity has involved many of our editors and contributing editors and Jessica Adams, editor of  The Holiday Goddess Handbag Guide to Paris, London, New York and Rome is a patron of Dogstar Foundation which rehomes street dogs in Sri Lanka.
