With New Zealand’s zero carbon bill coming into effect in 2020 (with a commitment to reaching zero emissions by 2050), we think it’s time to go and celebrate with the locals. And fortunately for anyone in the United States flights to this green and clean country have dropped dramatically, seemingly in line with their emissions. Recently American Airlines and Air New Zealand increased the number of direct flights including Air New Zealand’s Chicago (ORD) to Auckland (AKL) and American Airlines Los Angeles (LAX) to Christchurch (CHC). Air New Zealand has also added in a new route and will be flying from Newark (EWR) to Auckland later in 2020. All this healthy competition has fares sitting right down low, so the perfect time to go!
