For the first 23 years of his life, Dylan Thomas lived at 5 Cwmdonkin Drive in Swansea, which you can now rent for a holiday. He was born there in the front bedroom on October 27th 1914.

Dylan Thomas’ SeaView Home on Air BnB
Another important Thomas home is on Air BnB. SeaView is in Laugharne. Thomas lived here with his wife Caitlin in 1938 when she was expecting a baby. They entertained T.S. Eliot here and Augustus John, who called the place a ‘dolls’ house.’ Dylan wrote many of his love poems here.

The tearoom is open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10.30am – 3pm (Last orders 2.45pm)
Summer opening hours are from April to September
The house and tearoom will be open from 10am until 5pm (last orders 4.45pm) Thursday – Monday. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
