If the shut borders in 2020 didn’t allow you to travel to Rome, the good news is that you can still attend the 2020 Raffaello Exhibition online in 2021 & beyond instead.
The Scuderie show, with 120 works by Raphael from all over the world sold 70,000 tickets before travel restrictions kicked in and the spread of covid in Italy forced the exhibition to shut its doors. It was able to re-open from June 2nd until August 30th, 2020, but many people who planned to attend, were still unable to make it to Rome.
But in an odd twist of fate, no matter where you live in the world, we all now benefit from those changes of scheduling and can wander, room by room (virtually) seeing the genius of Raphael almost as if you had been there.
We now know he was buried at the Pantheon in Rome. Yet, even if you can’t be in Rome this year, you can still enjoying Raphael & his extraordinary talent.
