When I was thirteen my friend’s Mum gave me her ivory silk 1940’s wedding dress to wear as a Halloween costume.
The prospect of going overseas (very nearly) broke my bank account and social media algorithm. 
It started over Instagram. I was following Marguerite Berkeley as she sold vintage Breton tops through Instagram and local Brisbane markets.
