Rhubarb Crumble for Aries
Aries represents speed, therefore fast food. They will love burgers, pizzas, kebabs, street food, anything that doesn’t interrupt too much while on the go. But Arians will also want healthy food to boost their energy. So a heavy reliance on fast food is to be avoided.
Ruled by Mars, they will adore spicy food, but will need to be careful not to overindulge. The key parts of the body are the head, eyes, face, hair (although a luxuriant head of hair is something I associate with Leo rising). Arians love anything that gives quick energy: appropriately they’ll love a Mars bar, the ultimate chocolate bar, full of calories. But warning: to be eaten occasionally!
Foods associated with Aries include brains (yuk), radishes, barley, beetroot, rainbow chard, and rhubarb.
There are two kinds of rhubarb: in winter you can get tender pink rhubarb from yorkshire, force-grown under candlelight and available during Aries season. The more usual kind of rhubarb available is most seasons is green: larger and more fibrous. Rhubarb is tangy which knocks back too much sweetness. This crumble can be made with either kind of rhubarb.
