I started Story Time because I had a need for connection and a desire to tackle hard subjects through honesty. I’m bad at small talk, but I love all stories.

Since then, other people’s stories have lifted me up and made me feel less alone.  Their bravery has encouraged me to fight for what I care for with a lion’s heart, and their vulnerability has reminded me to be gentle with myself.

It began as a monthly story telling night and grew into a known safe space. Since lockdown, I’ve concentrated on providing daily stories online in hopes of creating connection.

I hope that it’s a place where people can feel empowered, to see that mistakes help us grow, that our challenges don’t define us, and our triumphs can be shared.

I feel honoured that people have trusted me with their words.  Sharing them continues to be such a powerful thing.
