7L BookShop
The 7L Bookshop was founded in 1999 by Karl Lagerfeld. There are 33,000 books inside this Paris legend, all on photography, architecture, design, lifestyle, fashion and gardening.
La Bibliotheque de Karl Lagerfeld is at 7 rue de Lille, Paris. It offers book signings, book boxes and the curation of a library for you at home.
The Instagram account is one of the most stylish on the site and one to follow:

There is also a subscription program – Friends of 7L.
The bookshop is a favourite for photo shoots and it also has its own publishing imprint.

Conde Nast Traveller Says:
https://www.cntraveler.com/shops/librairie-7l
“Independent bookshops in Paris have always been destinations, and 7L Bookstore is no exception. You might even say it’s a step inside the creative mind of the late bibliophile and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who opened the shop 20 years ago.”
7L Tote Bag
You can be part of 7L even if you are not in Paris. And yes, Lagerfeld designed the fantastic hot pink logo. For around AUD $57/35 Euros bookshop members can buy the tote bag too. (Images from the 7L website https://librairie7l.com/en)
Karl Lagerfeld Designer (and Book Hoarder)
The best literary account on Twitter/X is Lithub at @lithub. As it said on 20th February 2019, “RIP Karl Lagerfeld, one of the great book hoarders of our time.” (Image: @lithub).
